Simple 2-Step Fluorescent Leak Detection Procedure

  1. Add the appropriate fluorescent dye and let it circulate. (The dye escapes with the fluid and collects at all leak sites.)
  2. Scan the system with the inspection flashlight and see all leaks glow brightly!

Kit includes:

  • OPX-400I OPTIMAX™ 400 violet light LED leak detection flashlight. Inspection range of 25 feet (7.6 m) or more!
  • 1 oz (30 ml) bottle of OIL-GLO®  44 fluorescent oil dye for petroleum- or synthetic-based fluid systems. Glows yellow/green. Treats up to 8 gallons (30.3 L) of fluid.
  • 1 oz (30 ml) bottle of OIL-GLO® 50 fluorescent oil dye for petroleum- or synthetic-based fluid systems. Glows red. Treats up to 8 gallons (30.3 L) of fluid.
  • Fluorescence-enhancing glasses, dye cleaner, dye treatment tags and rugged carrying case.
