The Spectroline® PC-8820B UV EPROM/Wafer Erasing System is engineered for maximum irradiance uniformity with a nominal initial short-wave UV intensity of 70,000 µW/cm², producing the quickest and most complete erasure of programmed memory. The erasing cycle time is as fast as 90 seconds.

The unit consists of eight, ozone-free, low-pressure mercury vapor quartz grid lamp assemblies mounted on specular aluminum reflectors that produce up to four times the throughput of competitive systems.

The cabinet's extra wide and deep drawer capacity ensures easy loading of wafers. Adjustable tray inserts are designed to handle 15 - 6 in. (150 mm), 8 - 8 in. (200 mm) or 3 − 12 in. (300 mm) wafers. A digital timer automatically resets after each erasing cycle, making repetitive operation fast, easy and error-free. A state-of-the-art internal cooling system offers maximum uniform UV intensity, while prolonging grid lamp life.

One such system is the Spectroline® PC-9920A UV EPROM/Wafer Erasing System; engineered to meet high-volume production requirements. It has an operating UV intensity that is up to 60% greater than competitors’ systems. Its nominal 254 nm irradiance of 70,000 µW/cm² over a 36 x 24 in (91.4 x 61 cm) erasing area ensures fast and complete erasure of programmed memory from every EPROM, chip or wafer — in as little as 90 seconds.

This high-efficiency unit can complete an erasing cycle in just 4 minutes.

 

The PC-4420A utilizes four high-intensity, ozone-free, mercury vapor quartz grid lamp assemblies mounted on specular aluminum reflectors. Powerful internal cooling fans control the cabinet temperature to ensure optimum UV intensity, maintain uniform output and provide reliable erasing conditions. Debbie started her career at Spectronics more than 20 years ago as an International Customer Service Specialist, eventually moving on to Department Manager in 1998. Her positive, “can-do” attitude and outstanding work ethic made her a perfect choice for the Global Customer Service Manager position.

In her new role, Debbie will be responsible for streamlining the daily work flow of both the International and Domestic customer service departments, which in the future will be referred to as the Global Customer Service Department. “My primary focus will be to continue to maintain, nurture and strengthen the customer relationships our sales team creates worldwide. The PC-2200A features two high-intensity, ozone-free, mercury vapor quartz grid lamp assemblies mounted on specular aluminum reflectors. The unit produces a nominal initial short-wave UV (254 nm) intensity of 30,000 µW/cm². Spectronics Corporation has announced the promotion of Daniel Chusid to Technical Sales & Regulatory Compliance Specialist.

Dan joined Spectronics eight years ago as a Sales Administrator. He has also held the positions of International Customer Service Specialist and Technical Sales Specialist.

In his new role, Dan will be responsible for maintaining legal and regulatory compliance for the company. He will also provide direction to affected business areas regarding changes in operation required for compliance. Dan has expertise on current standards, industry best practices, regulatory requirements and company policies. In addition to his regulatory compliance duties, he will also respond to technical application inquiries from sales representatives, distributors and end-users.

Spectronics Corporation has announced the appointment of Daniel Tristan as its International Sales Manager for the Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions.

Before joining the company, Daniel was Director of Sales & Marketing at Dreyfus Global Trade, an export management company serving the automotive, heavy duty and industrial markets.

In his new role, Daniel’s responsibilities will be to support and increase sales by managing Spectronics’ existing distribution networks in these territories. He will also be instrumental in developing business by identifying new markets and establishing additional distributors where needed.

Daniel earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Economics and Spanish from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

“I am looking forward to hitting the road, growing existing distribution, and opening untapped markets in Latin America and Asia,” says Daniel.
