Compact, Powerful UV Lamp Is Perfect for Tight Areas

C-100PAThe C-100PA high-intensity ultraviolet lamp has a lamp head measuring only 7 x 9.5 inches (18 x 24 cm) — roughly half the size of other 100-watt inspection lamps! This makes it easy for NDT inspectors to check for cracks, defects, contamination and surface flaws in confined places that are inaccessible to larger lamps.

The C-100PA features a 100-watt, mercury vapor spot bulb with a nominal steady-state long-wave UV-A (365 nm) intensity of 5,000 µW/cm² at 15 in (38 cm). The lamp’s visible light emission is less than two foot-candles (0.2 lux), and it easily meets MIL and ASTM specs for FPI and MPI. The bulb has an average rated life of 5,000 hours.

The C-100PA lamp has a lightweight, comfortable, stay-cool pistol grip, which provides hours of fatigue-free use. The heat-resistant filter holder reduces filter movement, thus lowering the risk of breakage and visible light leakage. The C-100PA has 8-foot primary and 8-foot secondary cords.

Also available is the C-100PAR, which has an 8-foot primary cord and 30-foot secondary cord in a “flying reel,” as well as the C-100PAX, which has an 8-foot primary cord and a 20-foot secondary cord. All models are available in 120V, 230V, 240V and 100V versions.
