New Brochure on Industrial Leak Detection and Diagnostic Tools

Spectronics Corporation has published a new
six-page, full-color brochure on Spectroline® leak detection products and diagnostic tools for industrial systems.

The brochure details high-intensity, corded UV lamps, such as the MAXIMA™ ML-3500 and the BIB-150P, as well as cordless, rechargeable LED flashlights such as the OPTIMAX™ 3000 and the new OPTIMAX™ 365—a pure, long-wave UV light that makes even dirty oil leaks glow brightly!

Also highlighted are specialized tools, such as the Marksman™ ultrasonic diagnostic tool, the COBRA™ Series of multi-purpose borescopes and the PRO-Alert™ electronic refrigerant leak detector. The Marksman converts and amplifies inaudible ultrasonic sound into audible “natural” sound for accurate diagnosis of compressed air, natural gas, propane tank, vacuum, steam, refrigerant and other pressurized leaks. It also pinpoints gear and bearing wear in internal components and electric motors. The COBRA borescopes have long, thin shafts, which enable technicians to inspect and leak check hard-to-see components – without disassembly. The PRO-Alert is a portable electronic leak detector with a heated-diode sensor that accurately detects refrigerant leaks down to 0.03 oz/yr.

The brochure also provides information about a complete line of fluorescent dyes used to detect leaks in refrigerant and fluid systems, including hydraulic fluid, engine oil, compressor oil, gearbox oil, fuel and water.
