Spectronics Corporation has introduced the OPK-50GS/E, a special kit that makes it easy for technicians to find all air conditioning leaks— even those in cramped areas that are inaccessible to larger lamps.
The kit features the OPTIMAX Jr™, a compact, blue LED flashlight with mega power that quickly reveals the smallest leaks in air conditioning systems. It is just 7¼ inches (19 cm) long, weighs only 5 ounces (140 g) and can fit in a shirt pocket. It has a 100,000 hour LED life and is powered by three AA batteries, which are included.
Also included in the kit are four GLO-STICK® universal/POE A/C dye capsules. These single-dose capsules come in different sizes/concentrations to match the system capacity. Two BV-50 bleed valves attach the capsules to the service hoses. An 8 oz spray bottle of GLO-AWAY™ dye cleaner and fluorescence-enhancing glasses round out the kit. All items are stored in a convenient, sturdy plastic carrying case.
