New Forensic Inspection Kit Is Ideal for Field Use

OF-300W from OFK-300 OPTIMAX Multi-LiteSpectronics Corporation has introduced the OFK-300 OPTIMAX™ Multi-Lite™ Forensic Inspection Field Kit, featuring a cordless flashlight with three Qwik-Connect™ interchangeable LED lamp heads.  This portable, versatile kit is ideal for crime-scene investigation and gathering potential evidence, as well as forensic laboratory work.

The three LEDs provide single-wavelength illumination in UV-A, blue and white light.  The light sources are useful for various forensic applications.  For example, UV light is ideal for use with natural and UV-fluorescent dyes and powders; blue light detects bodily fluids, bite marks, bruising, hair and more; while white light is good for general inspection in the field.

This lightweight (only 15 oz) flashlight has a corrosion-resistant, black-anodized aluminum body, which stands up to heavy use in the field.  Powered by a NiMH battery, it provides 90 minutes of continuous service between charges.  An Electronic Intensity Stabilizer assures consistent performance with the highest light output, even on a low battery charge.

The model OFK-300 inspection kit come complete with the cordless flashlight body, three interchangeable LED heads, AC and DC battery chargers, as well as UV-absorbing and orange-contrast spectacles.  All components are conveniently packed in a padded carrying case.  Additional LED lamp heads and other components are available separately.
